1200W, plug-in 120V, remote and timer

The fog machine that stays on your side of the fence

A 1200-watt fog machine in a brushed metal shell with black end caps, a molded top handle, and six LEDs flanking the nozzle so the fog comes out already lit. Plug it into 120V, run it from the remote or on the timer, chill the output and it rolls low across the graveyard instead of climbing over the fence. Sits behind the headstones, nozzle aimed at the lawn, cord run back to the porch.

Hang it or set it down

That black yoke over the top is a hanging bracket with mounting holes. Bolt it under a porch eave or to a rail and tip the nozzle down with the side knob, or leave it on its feet in the dirt. Either way the angle stays where you put it.

The fog leaves the nozzle already lit

Six LEDs sit on the front panel on either side of the brass-colored nozzle tip, and the remote has a grid of color buttons, 14 colors in all. Pick purple and the cloud carries purple out onto the lawn, with no separate uplight on the ground for a trick-or-treater to kick.

Carry it out, carry it back in

Brushed metal body, black caps on both ends, a handle on top and a three-prong cord. It has the shape of a lunchbox that got serious. When the porch light goes off you pick it up by the handle and walk it to the garage, no crate needed.

Halloween night, and the morning after

Kids come up the walk through a low purple cloud, the headstones fade in and out behind them, and the fence line is where the fog stops being your problem. Next morning you clean the pump, coil the cord, and set it on the garage shelf by the handle. Feed it water-based fluid only and it comes down next October the same way it went up.
