A pair of full-height standing animatronics

Two figures that only work together

A tall figure in a long ash-stained grey smock and a shorter one in matching ragged grey, both with a canister pack strapped across the chest, a ribbed hose running up, and an old grey gas mask held out to the side. Green lenses glow where the eyes should be. Each stands on its own base.

Height difference does the work

One tall, one short, both facing out. That gap is what makes people read them as a pair instead of two props that happen to be near each other.

Grey against everything else

The whole yard is orange and black in October. Two ash-grey figures cut straight through it, and the green lenses are the only colour they need after dark.

Set the distance yourself

Separate bases, so you decide the gap. Close together they read as one silhouette; a few feet apart they frame the walk.
